I have an ARISTON LI 640 I-B-S-W dishwasher. We start the dishwasher in Regular or Intense wash mode and within 15-20 minutes it switches to Eco-Wash and the light begins to flash. The machine runs through it's cycle, but the dishes are not very clean when finished. I have checked the filters and cleaned them..What to do? Than DC

This machine uses the latent heat, after the rinse cycle to dry the contents.

If the contents gets hot when washing, it will dry as described with the door open.

Regular eco should be enough even if tea coffee wine has dried, if light soiling then quick 30 would do.

Quick 30 is a main wash and dry program
Regular Eco is a pre wash, main wash, finalrinse, and dry program.

For delicate Chinaware and Cristal glass I would recommend rinse & hold. As a pre wash to loosen up debris and then wash by hand, to protect delicate glase and gold work.

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating problems. These anomalies are reported by
one or two wash cycle indicator lights "E" will flash rapidly.

Any flashing combination of LED diodes (Intensive wash, Regular wash, Eco wash, Rapid wash, Soak and Crystal care) means different error code. Take a note of which lights are flashing?

If you have problem with fill water than following two LED should be flashing.
In this case could be:

• Water valve disabled
• Turbine disabled
• Control board faulty

hi there Mellisa, Is the tap turned on? if it is in may be the inlet valve at fault you will need to have it checked it see if the valve is recieving the open command from the controler. let me know if this helps, regards

Ariston LI6401-Washed a load. Last light on R control panel (Eco Wash) is blinking rapidly and didn't dry the dished.Turned pwer off then on. Did same type of wash. New maching-This is about the 6th wash

I have the same problem. Could you please let me know if you find a solution. I will do the same.

1) Ensure the dishwasher is turned off. 2) (may not apply) Turn the plastic blue lever located under the sink to the vertical position (this opens the valve, so water can go into the dishwasher) 3) Pour powder indo the dishwasher 4) Turn the dishwasher controller to the top position (the 12 o?clock position) ? this is the eco-setting. 5) Press the on/power button on the dishwasher, so that it now turned on (a light will display) 6) Move the dishwasher controller to the ?R? position (it?s on the very left), and leave it there a second or two. 7) Move the dishwasher controller back to the eco-setting (the 12 o?clock position).

2. Test the thermostat
   
3. Test the heating element

Clean out the filter really well, then replace it. This should reset the dishwasher. If it does it again when you try to run the dishwasher. Take the filter out and re-seat it. Some times it's not sitting exactly right. Good luck and I hope that helps.
