Gateway M305CRV hello i've a Gateway m305crv .. but no sound. -mute is turned of. -volume is 100. -also no output from phone or headphone. -but the sound appeard to play.. thnx for help..

1. Do you have an external volume control on the side? If so adjust it.
2. Do you have a speaker symbol in your lower right hand toolbar? If so, right click on it, go to open volume control, and adjust the slides.
3. No speaker in the toolbar? Left click START, choose CONTROL PANEL, find the ikon that says SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES, double left click it and adjust the volume.
Try downloading & installing your gateway audio driver, May be you could find it on gateway official site,or you should got drivers CD with your computer.
It sound like your headphone jack is the default sound device. Go to control panel > sounds > look at the devices listed. Click on the speakers that have a device connected to them. You may have two selections for speakers, but one may be tied to a sound device and the other to headphones. Highlight the sound device and click on make this device the default sound device and hit apply.
