Ink refill for MX 310

I have a canon MX 394 printer and after refilling the ink cartridges, I tried to reset the low ink warning as described here but the low ink message does not disappear and the problem persists. Any additional help regarding this.??

This is because they use a chip for the level, and it's based on usage, not on the actual level of ink on the cartridge. Here is a good page with info that can be valuable for you and help you save money.

When you get an HP integrated ink cartridge refilled (i.e. HP 60, 61, 74, 75, 901, 92-98....currently offered by Costco and Frys today) or if you buy a remanufactured/compatible HP ink cartridge, the ink levels CANNOT be reset (HP has a smart chip embedded within the nozzle plate at base of ink cartridge which counts the drops and then registers as empty - it uses fusible links so the electronics are literally blown - thus non-reversible).....so you just need to live with the low ink messages and ignore ink low, non-genuine, counterfeit, fraud messages and similar while you are using these types of refilled or aftermarket ink supplies.

The question was for Mx410 but, below ya'll mention MX310. Is this solution for the MX 410 too.

Ignore the low ink warning, the printer should still print after about 30 seconds or hit resume on the printer.

You will get this warning every time you print. There is no way to reset those cartridges. Thanks For YOur Time

It's telling you it doesn't know how much ink is left, that happens with refilled cartridges or if you remove them and put them back in. It should still let you print and go away after you replace the unknown cartridge.

Some "remanufactured" ink-cartridges are just "refilled" cartridges,
and the company that refills them cannot "reset" the electronics inside the ink-cartridge to report that the ink now is "full".

So, just use the cartridge until you notice that the ink has gone empty.

Click on the "Support & Service" tab. In the "Search Our Knowledgebase" block, type in replace ink and click "Search".

There should be a link at #1 dealing with installing ink cartridges. Click on the link and it will show with pictures and animation how to remove and install them.

Well I did some Research and came up with this "Link" that MAY Help You (Both) about this issue, this is by no means "My Expertise" area, Just decided to go out and "Look" around....seems like a Great Place to start.

Even if the ink level is low, you can continue printing.Press the paperfeed knob for 5 seconds. inklevel indicator will stop now.
Sometimes a new (or refilled) cartridge is not recognised correctly.
When one color is really mt, stop printing and replace inmideatly the colorcartridge.Printing or scanning without the 2 cartridges in place is impossible.
