The above link, is a complete exploded parts diagram. Below is a generic How to replace the spindle & bearings.
http://www.woodworkforums.com/f170/replacing-spindle-bearings-127932/

You will need to lock, the spindle, and use a puller, and maybe even heat to get it apart depending on how worn damage etc?
below is a wiki for another type but may help?

How do I remove/replace blades on a Harbor Breeze fan?

The blades (wood or fiber board) usually attach to a metal bracket with a 90 degree bend in it by 3 small screws. This bracket is then attached to the fan with two more screws. At times I have loosened the 3 screws using a long screw driver. Other times it's easier to unscrew the two screws that attach it all to the hub. Unless you can bend the metal parts back into their normal position and replace the fan blades with ones of equal size and weight, you have a tough job ahead of you. You might be better off replacing all the blades at once, to guarantee their length and weight. I'm an extreme recycler and when I see someone getting rid of a fan, I pick up all the parts for the future. You can get yourself fan blades, glass globes that go over the light bulbs or whatever you might need this way.

Replace rear wiper assembly

The wiper arm has a cover on the left end that pops up after gently spreading the two bottom sides apart. That allows the arm to swing out for cleaning the window or replacing the blade.
The wiper blade assembly attaches to the end of the arm . It is pressed in and will pop out with a little force rotating the left side away from the arm. It pops back in with a little push. The arm remains attached to the rotating shaft assembly.
I believe you can then replace just the rubber blade and not the whole blade assembly, if that is your fancy.

I can't unlock the blade.

Do you mean the chain won't move, or you can't get the blade off? The chain brake must be off to allow the chain to move. The chain brake handle has a housing that engages a gear attached to the chain brake inside the cover where the blade is attached. The brake must be off to remove the cover (usually held on by two nuts). The blade tension screw should be loosened to allow the blade to be removed, then retightened when replacing the blade. Tightening it pushes the blade out from the saw, so if it is tight, you won't be able to remove the blade. Hope this helps.

How do I attach the replacement blade on my B&D jigsaw model 7504? I have the replacement blade but don't know how to attach it....

Locate the small hole with the screw inside it directly above the handle, which usually is in line with the blade. Loosen the screw with a flathead screwdriver. Once the screw is loose, gently pull the blade out from the unit .. this works with older Jigsaws for newer ones ,,Locate the release button just above the portal where the blade enters the body of the unit. Depress the button and gently pull the blade out from the unit.

Insert the new blade into the same portal that the old blade was removed from while depressing the release button. Ensure that the new blade is facing the same direction that the old blade faced. Once the blade is fully inserted into the portal, let go of the release button.

The spindle with star shaped end that attaches

the reason it sheard off is because you did not put the blade on right.

How do you change the windshield wiper blades on a 1996 ford bronco

The 1996 Ford Bronco takes a 18" replacement wipers on both drivers side and passenger side. Don't just go by lengths though - when buying windshield wiper blades be sure to always use the application guide book at the store or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'.

You want to look this up because correct wiper fit is more than correct length, it's also proper attachement. Not all attachments fit all arms. Using the application guide or looking up wiper size online will avoid headaches of buying the right lengths with the wrong attachements.

The replacement wiper blades will come with step-by-step, illustrated instructions and once you have the instructions and the wiper blades/arms in your hands in front of you, it will all make better sense and will an easy maintenance task. Very simple and takes 5-15 minutes usually not requiring any tools.

If in your budget, upgrade to the newer-style frameless "beam blades" which perform better than conventional framed wipers. I use Trico NeoForm Beam Blades which are fantastic. Hope this helps!
