I have the same problem. My wild guess is incompatible dj software and numark drivers. i am using vdj pro 7 but i tried to downgrade to 5.02. and use single output ---------- headphones -------------- two cards, and assigned them to numark usb audio device, and the sounds goes thru my mixer. but when i use the vdj version 7 or higher cannot produce a quality sound. it got some noise coming out.

Mixer will only play through one speaker; this is same with organ, microphone and ipod connected. Swopping jacks results in speakers swopping proving that woring is good, but mixer will not play both...

Sounds to me like either an open wire or a blown speaker. I would highly recommend not operating it until it is fixed before you blow the amp. Tapping a 9V battery across the speaker (disconnected from amp) will cause a noise in the speaker, if not it is a broken wire or bad speaker. Good Luck

Cant hear anything out of my speakers connected to djio

Are you using a Mixer as a pre-amp for this set-up? For example, I have a Numark CM200 where I have all of the inputs and outputs I need to run. DJ IO is connected to Chanel 1 and Chanel 2 Lines in my mixer. The DJ IO is conected to my computer by USB cable. In Traktor souncard settings chanel 1 is set to (3&4) Chanel 2 (2&1) also, devise set up is Numark DJ IO and in External mode. Of course the mixer is conected to my amp and speakers conected to the amp as well.

How do I connect CDJ 800 to work on mixer AND surround speakers?

you did not mention that you have a power amplifier to drive your Speakers. well you need to have one unless you have a powered speaker. the sugnal comes from the mixer main output goes to the input of your amp. or powered speaker.
