Changed the battery on my Fit-Pro Scanner pedometer and needs to reset the pedometer

you have to resync it with the dongle plugged into a computer.
was it a fitbit zip ? if yes then
you will have to take battery out and then put back in. for about two minutes you will be able to hook it up to a pc via the dongle and fit bit software .As it goes into pairing mode . for about two minutes from having battery inserted.

Mine wouldn't turn on either....what they do not tell you is that inside, (take out for four screws and open the meter), is another battery under a silver round clip. Take that bettery out and replace it....works like a champ now!.

The pendulum inside the pedometer is linked to the step counting device. If pressing the reset button a few times does not clear the display, here is what you can do to release the pendulum: * Give the pedometer a few gentle shakes while keeping the reset button held down.
