Water leaking out of soap dispenser

I have had this happen. I have taken the dispenser tray out and cleaned the area where the water and the detergent will flow into the washer at. This area had gotten some gunk build up, once I cleaned it, it has not leaked since. Now I just routinely look at this and make sure that it is clean. Hope this helps you.

Water is leaking out the soap dispenser.

Remove the soap dispenser and clean it throughly, next check the tube from dispenser to the tub to be sure it is clear of blockage. Run the washer with hot water to clear any residual buildup that may be left in it.

Frigidaire front load washer (GLTF1040ASO) is leaking water by the detergent dispenser area. Any suggestions on what this could be?

This is usually caused by solidified detergent blocking the water ways in the detergent dispenser.

Check the inside of the dispenser to make sure the outlet holes are not blocked.

Most dispensers can be removed for cleaning check your appliance instructions for details.

Kenmore front load washer is leaking water from soap

We had a similar problem with water coming out of the soap dispenser when the washer was run. I assumed that it was a problem with the water draining as everyone else posted here. I took off the front panel, got rid of the junk and drained it. Although this was great, it did not solve the original problem. It turns out that there was a sock stuck in between where the water comes out of the soap dispenser and in to the main compartment. Pulled it out with a needle nose plier and good to go. Thanks to everyone for their input here.

Frigidaire gallery series front load washer leaking water on side where soap dispenser is. Have had two different repair places take a look at it- replaced soap dispenser- still leaks - repair people can't...

turn down the water pressure on the water line to the washer if the water pressure is to high it will splash out of the filler. there should be a vale on the main water line to the washer.

Leaking from the dispenser

Try to pull out your dispenser drawer gently to clean out thoroughy. If you cant succeed, use a tooth brush, see that the brush does not fall in. Probably you have dried powder blocking the passage, nothing else.
