If this is a iPhone hold the power button and the home button at the same time until the apple logo appears, then release both buttons. This is a soft reset and won't affect anything on the phone.

is it fully in park or neutral..

Try the mouse in a different computer.
If it works, it's the "settings" for the mouse in your copy of Windows that have changed, i.e., pushing the LEFT mouse button is *NOT* "associated" with any specific "action".

Or, shutdown your computer.
Disconnect the mouse from the computer.
Flip the mouse over.
Look for any screws holding the mouse together.
If you find some, undo the screws, and split the mouse apart.
Inspect the mechanism that "clicks" when you push the LEFT mouse-button.
Remove any dirt/dust.
Reassemble the mouse.
Reconnect it to your computer.
Try it.

If it still does not work, try the mouse in a different computer.
If it still does not work, responsibly recycle it, and buy a new mouse.

if this is an oasis model. Try pushing other buttons you should get a touch tone (beep) as a good response. if no sound you seem to have a interface problem. not a main ctrl.

Make sure the trolley is not jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit.

I discovered a scratch on the game disk that was causing the problem.

I'VE HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE. WHEN PUSHING THE START BUTTON AND GETTING A AAARGH SOUND THIS INDICATES A BAD MOTOR. YOU NEED TO RULE OUT SOMETHING STUCK IN BLOWER. while pushing the power button , push reset button for couple of seconds. hope that helps as that is what worked with mine.

Mine was stuck on fine photo resolution too and it wouldn't print in normal black. I tried lots of things and the only thing that seemed to work was pushing the photo button and then pushing the copy button again. Good luck.

Check the little drive pulley underneath the mech. It is very common for this to crack or break and not drive the takeup reel.
