If your looking at your phone screen and it’s asking you for a security code, you may want to try the last 4 digits of your cell phone number, that is the default for most phones. If that does not work then you can try 9999 or 0000. Those are also standard with most phone companies. If after that you still have no luck, call your service provider to get help with the code otherwise you risk locking your phone out permanently which stops you from being able to receive phone calls, text messages, etc. I’m sorry your having so much trouble with this! If it is configured to lock the screen it can yes if you don't know the code try 0000 if that doesn't work reboot phone and before the screen locks type 277634#*# it will open a hidden engineer's menu and you can choose master rest phone and it will set all settings and codes to default and turn the screen lock off for you.
the only way u can over ride your code is by doing a hard rest but everything will be wiped from the phone if u let know what model number it is i will let i know how to do a hard rest.
