Wont print keeps saying error 5200 - Canon PIXMA MX320 Color USB InkJet Printer

your printer is telling you that some gears and belts are faulty besides cleaning this problem is only for qualified tech

The error 5200 is either print head overheated or the logic board is faulty.

If it overheated, there might be burn marks on it somewhere or some distortion due to excessive heat.

Error 5200 unfortunately is a Print head overheat error. Whatever you try to do to fix it will not work unless you replace the print and the main logic board. These two parts HAVE to be replaced as a pair to get the machine to work. However the costs are often more than the machine is worth. To be honest i would scrap it and by another. Its quite an uncommon fault but have seen it before (I am a Canon engineer)

Error 5200 is a service error
Follow this solution step by step

1. With the printer turned on,unplug it
2. Open the top and bring the ink cartridge holder to the middle
3. Raise the gray bar and remove the print head assembly with the cartridges in it
4. Lower the gray bar with the head missing and close the top with the head out
5. Restore the power,wait till the printer starts
6. It will tell you to put in the cartridges, Put in the cartridge
7. Restore the print head, close the top and the printer will resume working

Error will be removed.

HP F4272 wont print

Just remove the ink cartridge from the printer and clean the surface contact using a cotton moistened dipped in an alcohol .
Return back the cartridge and try to print again.

Try also to Press and Hold the STOP/RESET button until printer restart. Release the button when to completely initialize the printer

Error code 5200 means the print head temperature is too high. The only was to resolve this error is either replace the print head or replace the logic board. The print head is available, part number QY6-0061 but you will struggle to find a logic board. The only other thing you can try is resetting the EEPROM on the logic board, this sometimes clears the error.
