My SE w595 appeared 'Serious error. stop charging. stop using the phone. Contact Sony Erisccsion call center' message15 minutes after I start charging the phone. It also can't receive SMS since this error message occured. I have used SEUS and it said the software is up-to-date. I also tried 'phone repair' by using SE PC suite. However, it always gave me the message of 'phone repaire failed'. Please help.

The phone told you what to do. Don't charge it, don't use it, and call their support center.

As you said in the question some of the sony ericsson mobile will face this problem because of charging.You just need to contact you are nearest service center.They will take few minutes to solve you are problem.Your mobile as a small problem with it.Service you are mobile as soon as possible before it is to late.Thanks for your question.
this is sme serious sh*t im just kidding download sonyericsson update service run the program and it should guide u how to update your phone firmware and see if your battery i ok like change into another 1 if u have at home or ask friend tolend u his and see if it still occurs problems with the phone
The software may be corrupt.
Go to sony ericsson.com
Download Pc suite & Update service.
Reinstall the latest software update, it will work.
If it doesn't, move to SE service centre for hardware check.
i have this problem on my w595... i searched on internet and find some solution... changing batter,updating S/W. i did both of them but doesn't work. is it hard ware problem or not?!
