My sabre tv is blinking red and will not turn on, is there any hope?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. TV's operate on 110 volts, not 220 volts. You need more than just an adaptor to plug in your TV. You need to use a voltage converter to bring the voltage down to 110 volts. But since you already connected your TV up to 220 volts, damage has already occurred to the sensitive electronic components and you need to get it repaired.

My TV just did this 2 days before Thanksgiving. I just messed with it and fixed it today. Unplug it from the power source for atleast one hour. Plug it back it. Hold the power button til constantly flashes red and green. Wait at least one minute while it continues to flash. Turn it off. Flip the big power source button on the back to off && then on. Then hit the power button on the side, and it should turn on. Worked for mine. Hope it helps.

my sabre 42' tv has red little dots when it's supposed to be completely black... is the a way to solve that problem?

Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?

I bought a 37'' Sabre when I got back to the states in 07. Now, the power button is flashing red/yellow/green and won't turn on. Anyone with these tv's having this problem?
