The fuse trips when the iron is switched on

dead short internally or bad wiring in the cord
cord can be replaced by electrician but otherwise junk it and get a new one

Iron heating sporadically and sensor lights working sporadically

sounds like a loose connection in the power transfer, some piece of metal may be broken or the cord itself may be damaged in some place, you could try replacing the cord. I would just go and buy a new iron. They aren't all that expensive anymore. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I hope you solve your problem. If you want any further help or have any other questions, please let me know, otherwise have a Good Day.

My balljoint cord is loose & the iron keeps shutting down until i wiggle it, is there anyway i can have this repaired? (of course my warranty is up)

Unless you are really good with miniature parts and can have the patience to open and repair, I suggest you buy a replacement cord/socket assembly. it should still be available, afterall it is a common problem. Just about any appliance repait place will do this for you , or yiu can order the assembly and do it yourself. Good -luck,Macgivor

Iron turns off by itself while using it. I have to move the cord around in order for the iron to turn back on.

you may have a bad connection in the cord wires will need a new cord replacement or new iron

When i plugged the iron it wont start , i have to shake the plug up and down then it start and as soon as i leave the cord it goes back to shut down

You have a short in the cord.Go to ace hardware and get a replacement cord. remove the bad cord. And put the new one on. Your ready to iron.

Sunbeam 4267-000 not turning on just blinking red

"FF" or a blinking light will display meaning “Fault Found”. The “fault” is in the amount of power available to the blanket, mattress pad or throw.
There are several causes to this problem:
1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, power strip, or not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly.

To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your bedding product:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual bedding product itself.
3. Re-plug the cord into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

If the 4 steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset.
