My ge profile cooktop has an F122 error message blinking and none of the burners will turn on. This happened about a month ago and I was able to fix it but one of the back burners would not work after that. Now none of the burners will turn on and it won't stop beeping this error message.

SOURCE: Have a four burner gas GE Profile cooktop. How do

The igniter module is working fine. One of the switches (which are on each valve shaft) is stuck or shorted out. Pull a wire off each one at a time to determine which one is bad. Careful! 120 volts to each wire. Also, this can happen after you spill water into the valve area, if that sounds right, let it dry out.

F152 error GE Monogram electric cooktop

Take out the right front burner and use your multimeter to check it for continuity. Only then can you be sure that the error code isn't lying to you.

It is my guess, that with an error message so specific, that if no burners are working, it is not the front right burner at all. Hands on testing is the only way to be sure.

F152 means the right front burner has failed, the sensor in it is bad, the burner will need to be replaced.

error code F152 ' Appliance Video

The element is $225.00 so it is not something to change on a guess. Full testing procedure here, or call for a Service Engineer.

Hot surface light stays on on GE Profile Cooktop model JP989 and On does not light for left burners. This is only happening on left burners. Left front burner goes to high with any setting on the switch...

You could have a shorted burner, if it is not then you may have gotten a bad part.

always unplug electricity before attempting to repair on any electrical appliance

My GE Profile propane gas cook top was just installed yesterday. When I go to turn on one of the burners, all of the ignitors click. This can't possibly be normal. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, thats okay when you turn the knob voltage gets sent to the spark module, Then the module sparks all the burner igniter. And frame ignition only happens on the single burner of the knob you turned that sends gas to the burner associated with that knob.

I have a GE Profile cooktop jp930 (less than 5 yrs old) that appears to have lost all power. It was working fine when I turned it on and about 10 minutes later it lost power. I checked the fuse box and...

first check if power is getting to the cook top(there should be a box outside where the wire goes in. After that you have to check if the power makes it to the main board/connector to see if the individual burners are working. My guess is that there is a loose wire at the connection they redid when you redid your counters

GE Profile glass top cooktop- burners do not heat, indicator lights do work

If none of the burners are working but the pilot light does you are having a power problem and only getting 120 volts to it. Check the breakers to make sure they are on correctly. 240 volts is needed to operate the cooktop. Hope this helps. Rick

GE Profile JP350 cooktop stopped working

OK, i think the problem took care of itself. definitely got water down in the infinite switch for the lower right burner. let it dry 12 hours and reset the breaker, now works fine. but, i know if i do that again, or if it happens randomly, i will have to replace the switch and seals (available at repairclinic.com)
to do that, you have to remove the cooktop (screwed down by a strap in the back to the back wall of the cabinet) remove the sheetmetal to access the switches and replace. just keep the wiring straight, and ALWAYS replace the seals, they leak over time.
