Question about Haier HDP18PA Stainless Steel Free-Standing Dishwasher

I have a haier dishwasher and it has stopped working,it's not filling water or doing anything

Check the small sensor along the rim of the door/door jam. It may be stuck. Free the machnism an start washing. Another common problem that cuase those symtoms is a bad door gasket.

SOURCE: Open the dishwaser while still filling now keeps going to error

After reading a few of the other Haier models troubles, I pulled the unit out and tip it at 45 degrees backwards for around minute. Water pored from the back of the unit, once cleaned water up reinstalled unit and all seems to be back in working order.

Just hums won t start

Their is 2 screens towards the back right that are plugged up. . You can take out 2 screws out and clean them up. Or the fill level adjustment in the front left isn't working right. It also can be fixed with 2 screws and cleaned.

I have a haier hdc1804tw it starts,pumps out old water, fills new water, than stops. It wont activate. Any advice?

Have you had any luck with this? Ours just started doing this tonight after no problems (had it for 3 years, light use). "Feels like" a pump isn't kicking in to pump the water to the arm.

Haier dishwasher did not pump out

I had problem like this...one day the washer stopped, still half-full of water. Then, we tried to run again and we could hear the little engine working but it wouldn't let water in OR out, just error beaps.
Then my boyfriend took off the back and gently tapped the water inlet valve solenoid with his screwdriver, and now it works! Starting FILLING actually, not draining, but completed a full cycle finally!
Must have shaken loose a blockage in the mechanics in that solenoid, probably have to replace before long. But for now, success!

Our Haier HDC1804TW counter-top dishwasher does not complete the washing cycle. It stops after 90 minutes which should be 115 minutes for heavy washing according to the manual. The washing light is...

Since mine does the very same thing, it's my guess that is the sterilising cycle as by this point it has already washed, done a short fill to remove any remaining detergent, and two rinses. I'm also assuming the second short fill is just to cover the heating element and/or to to generate an amount of steam having being heated by the element (I'm basing that assumption on the heat of the dishes at the end of end of the cycle and the heat of the water when it drains)

I close turn on and no water

if you can hear pump kick in then stop..... then you need to change valve inlet...
