Most problems with this printer are resolved when changing the toner cartridge, as the cartridge contains parts which deteriorate with age. Change the cartridge and see if the problem is still there

try this,
Fehl.ATM-fixing. in this case the toner cartridge is not properly used in the device. Take the cartridge out of the device and put them, as described in the instructions. or in SCX 4216 when the count is not automatically reset, you can count manually by the following key combination reset:
