I cant download videos onto my go gear aria , whenever I try to play the video it says file format not supported. I need to know what file I have to convert it to or any softwares I need to convert the file

I think this player only supports smv video format, there is freeware available to convert various formats to smv.

Well, one thing u need to know is that Archos 3 vision cant support all file formats and codecs. U need to transcode video files to compatible format with Archos 3 vision. I recommend u Pavtube Video Converter(http://www.pavtube.com/video_converter/) which can transcode between any video files, and it still offers u foramt presets for Archos.
