Having the EXACT same problem with my P5NE-SLI, have tried the standard fixes with no luck, removing and reinstalling the video card and RAM trying a single stick of RAM in different slots, etc. and it's still doing it. I have Kingston Hyper X RAM that is on the Asus approved list and a Ge-Force 8500 GT graphics card with a Pentium Dual Core E2200 CPU. This is a replacement board, the first one wouldn't do anything at all so I RMA'd it.

I've had this MB since April 2007 and it's worked perfectly. About 7 weeks ago (Oct. 2008) it stopped booting up. No display, hard drive LED stays lit (with/without drives connected) and 1 long beep followed by 3 short ones. It was on when I restarted it just because it was on all night (I like a fresh restart in the morning) but it never came back on. I haven't had any problems with this MB because all the same parts that are in this box (MB, RAM, HD, Video) or had (DVD-+R) were working for the past year.

    Hardware:
    P5N-E SLI
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6420
    A-Data 2x1GB 800 DDR2
    EVGA 8600GTS 256
    Sony DRU-710A
    Western Digital WD2500 SATA

I've tried the fixes in the manual and the ASUS support site (BIOS reset, battery replacement, RAM, expansions out) and no fix.

Cdc-m computer will not come on the on light works case fans comes on but that is all

Do you mean that your computer does not turn on just casing light lit on and Fan runs only? What means new, memory and case?

If just lights on, fan runs but no image on monitor or blank screen, you should hear some kind of sound form inside of the CPU casing. This is called beep code. If you hear continuous beep or 3 same beep with same length, it means your motherboard is missing RAM, just connect it properly. If does not work or stop try a good RAM installing to see the result and plug your this RAM to a working machine that have the same kind of RAM.
If you hear one long beep with two short beep After PC switching on, or Two long beep with one short beep following - that means your Graphics card is not connected properly, or damaged or miss matching. If you do not have any beep code after switching on the machine, your motherboard may not have build in emergency speaker. Try to clear this things first. Please mention details of your computer with model number of your motherboard. Let me know updates.

Dell ispiron m5040 beeps three times and will not power up

2 Short Beeps Your computer has memory problems. First check video. If video is working, you'll see an error message. If not, you have a parity error in your first 64K of memory. First check your SIMM's. Reseat them and reboot. If this doesn't do it, the memory chips may be bad. You can try switching the first and second banks memory chips. First banks are the memory banks that your CPU finds its first 64K of base memory in. You'll need to consult your manual to see which bank is first. If all your memory tests good, you probably need to buy another motherboard. 3 Short Beeps Basically the same thing as 2 beeps. Follow that diagnosis above.

I have recently built a new PC with an Asus P8H61-M and upon turning the PC on I am recieving no Visual on either of my monitors

Hello

If this is the first time to turn you on your computer check first the power supply of your computer if connected to their proper connector. Check your memory if clip properly in there memory slot. If you are using Video Card check it if it is properly connected to the connector. Then connect your VGA connector at the back of your computer when you have video card connect the VGA Cable of you monitor to the video card VGA output if does not have connect it with the onboard VGA output. Then press the power switch if the unit is still no visual in monitor try to search or hear a beeping sound in your computer by its on board buzzer. Find which beep you hear from your computer.

No Beep- No Power, Loose Card, or Short.
One Short Beep- Normal Post,, Computer is OK.

THE RED LIGHT IS ON AND BEEPS EVERY MINUTE

What motherboard do you have? If you don't know, provice make and model of your system and maybe we can find out that way. Is it one long beep? Are there any other beeps and/or a sequence. A good place to start and alot of times, depending on your bios, 1 to 3 beeps means a problem with the RAM(memory). If you have more than 1 stick, you can pull them out, restart and if the beep is the same, you've probably found your culprit. You can then insert one at a time in one of your slots, then restart. If this works, you've found a good stick. If not, try another slot and restart, etc. Try all sticks in all slots.

My computer beeps continuously every time i have it plugged in

Try this suggestion. Turn off your laptop, remove the cables and battery on the pc. Press and hold the power button for 8 secs. Then reinsert the cables and battery on the laptop and then turn on the pc. If it still continues to beep with no interruption, it is a problem on the motherboard. I suggest to call Acer and have your computer repaired immediately unless if you know how to reseat the motherboard by tearing down the laptop..

Laptop does a long beep, followed by two short beeps.

One long followed by two short beep IS a video error. However, your model laptop does not have a separate video card. The only fix is to replace the mother board. Here is the service manual that will show you how to take apart the laptop and even give you the part number you would need to replace the motherboard.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
