Question about Kenmore 76129 Air Conditioner
This air conditioner was running perfectly last week. All of a sudden, the unit stopped working. Can you please advise if this model has a reset button? Also, will cleaning the filter get it to work again?
I can be reached at [email protected]
If the display/control are not lighting/no power & unit will not turn on, the problem is likely the main power control board part number 6871a20271a. The board runs $40-50. However, if you are competent with a soldering iron, you can replace the integrated circuit chip [black rectangular 8 pin component marked TNY266PN] which I have found to be the cause of at least my problem.
The component is approx $1.50 [buy several, it WILL fail again] [email protected]:
Hope this information is helpful to someone

We have a Sears Kenmore 2537015600 that just quit working, will not power up at all. Is there a reset method on this unit or do we need to buy a new unit.

There is no reset button on this unit that I have located. I don't think cleaning the filter will help since you could just set the unit to run without the filter.
