I need part a break down for electrolux model 1205 vacuum cleaner with factory part numbers, I would like it to have the motor and fan parts break down and numbers to be able to replace the fan blades, I have found a distributor that carries the parts but no one seems to have pictures or cross reference materials to verify if they are the right parts.

The motor and fans are a single unit/assembly. Schematics and parts lists are only available to authorized service techs and franchise owners.
The company that made this machine is now Aerus. You can purchase the correct parts through your local Aerus Electrolux dealer. They know the parts to order for this machine and will provide the correct ones.

Electrolux UltraSilencer ZUS3962 Power OK but motor doesn't turn

I can't find a pares schematic for it. We are in North America and Google leads me to believe it is a model for New Zealand? Go to where you bought the motor and see if it lists a Thermal Fuse?

Took apart my electrolux 6500 sr. How do I get my fan shroud off to clean the blades? Thank you.

Oops. Don't. First blow it out with another canister vacuum or air hose. That's usually sufficient for removing dirt and dust. For dust/dirt in the motor, use a motor cleaning spray that can be picked up at most auto parts stores. One that evaporates quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue. One's called Electric Motor Contact Cleaner by Gunk (http://www.gunk.com/CAT_NM1.asp). There are others.
Hobby shops may also have one available called Dynamite Magnum Force 2 Motor Spray.
It shouldn't be that dirty unless someone has been using generic "made to fit" Electrolux bags. Or if water or other liquid has been vacuumed, resulting in rust, etc.

Keep in mind that reassembling the vacuum is more difficult than taking it apart. If not done so correctly, various problems may result. While you have it apart, it would probably be a good idea to use pipe cleaners to clean out the tubes connectiong the "control valve assembly" to other parts of the vacuum. Also, unscrew the knob at the top of the "cva" to check for wear and breaks. Clean dust thoroughly from all interior parts.

How to replace sheath cord on Electrolux
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Just bring in a sample of the Electrolux sheath cord to your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area and chances are he will have the part to replace the sheath cord for the Electrolux. Or you can contact the Electrolux factory website or the cust serv line and supply them with the brand name and model # of the vacuum and they can either send it out to you or let you know where you can get one. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Central vacuum motor. Posted by knise on Jun 29, 2008 Circuit breaker attached to a board inside the vacuum shroud “clicks" rather than motor starting?
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me like you have a bad replay switch on the inside of the Electrolux Central Vacuum and it needs replacing. They are not too bad as per the cost if you are mechanically able but B4 you attempt to do that I would have it checked by a local vacuum cleaner central vacuum service tech just in case. I will give you the website and the factory phone number for the Electrolux listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Help! It works fine until I plug in a hose and then the unit surges--kind of like its breathing.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me that you may have a weak motor and when it takes on a load it starts to over load and or surge – but if the motor is still under a factory warranty then contact the vendor who installed it because if you work on a unit that is under a factory warranty then it will void the warrant. It is not the vacuum inlet because that only uses a low volt wire. So if it beyond the factory warranty then contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or cal the Electrolux factory for further information and or an owner manual on the unit giving them a model # and serial # so they can download the correct service manual for you. Your motor may be in need of service but be careful that the repair and labor does not exceed the cost of a new motor.

So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
