You might want to check the iPod's brightness settings. Here's how to:

Settings > General > Brightness > Then toggle to see which amount of brightness is suitable for you.

Go to settings, then brightness and adjust the brightness or switch off the auto-brightness. Hope this helps

if you're using win xp, try to check the power option.(click start, go to control panel & power management/power option).from there, you have an option to adjust your screen brightness settings everytime you wake up your system from sleep mode/hibernation mode.

then choose display driver. download and install it. It will update your video display driver. It might help to improve your brightness issue.

IF your backlight has not blown (screen will be very dark, hardly see anything on screen) then you adjust brightness in Control panel / power options.
You adjust the brightness for mains and battery power schemes here

The leapster 2 screen is so dull you can hardly see the writing and programs. Very dark in colour. You can see colour arounf the edge of screen but the darkness overpowers the screen.

is the screen brightness all the way up? if so, you may have a defective unit. email sandisk and [email protected] to get a replacement if it is still under warrenty.
