did you purchase these because you thought this was part of the problem? if is a convergance problem you should have some picture it would be distorted or color bars would be on the left or right of the screen. if the light is flashing and you have no picture at all or any audio you have a power supply problem. it is not letting the proper voltage energize the main board.

You are correct but it can be fixed actually.
The picture problem in your Y Sus and the audio problem is on your audio circuit.
You need to decide to repair it or invest for new one.
