Some of these trains have 2 sets of batteries. One set ran the train, one set runs the sound effects. Perhaps the batteries that make the sound work are bad, or loose, or that system has failed.
God bless your efforts.
The headsets should work regardless of the type of sound card,
I would recommend you to check the head set in some other PC and then you will get a confirmation whether it's working or not, if it's working then it's the problem with your sound card and it's not just a problem with the head set but with the sound output.
Hi.
First option: Go to bios setting power on your PC then press F2 or DEL if you see bios setting highlight advance setting then search for audio device need enable and press F10 to save and exit.
boot to your operating system, try see device manager for sound hardware detection.if detected just install sound driver.
Second option: if you do first option not yet working sound card. I recommend you purchase USB sound card external.it's very easy to install.
First, make sure the ringer switch is set to 'ON'. It's the little button on top of the Centro. It's turned on when it's pushed to the left. If that doesn't help then check the Sounds settings. The Palm Centro sounds settings can be accessed and changed from the 'System' screen like this: •Press the 'Home' button on the Centro. •Tap the 'System' category (top of sscreen). •Tap 'Sounds' to change the sound settings as you desire.
I hope this helps to resolve the sound problem.

Hi. Just tap Settings from Start Menu, then tap Sounds&Notifications, in the second tab, you can change all the settings for your device's sounds and notifications. Hope this helps.
Hi there, Depending on operating system but assuming windows.
Start with going to your settings
open your Start menu, Settings, Control panel, Sound and audio devices, If everything checks out then proceed to
Start menu Settings, Control panel, System, Device manager, Hardware, Find your sound card, right click and select update driver. I hope this helps and good luck.
In there you should see your hardware. Make sure it is all set correctly. Also check the speaker on the taskbar. Open the sound and make sure that all are checked or (not checked) on to make the sound work ... wave, midi, and so on for what you are playing . Some will turn on when checked, some will turn off when checked...try these settings.
Make sure your music player is set correctly. Go to the properties in the program.
