Hi, um.... well my wii isn't doing the internet wifi thing there is a error code: 32002

Hi there.

This error is caused by the Wii being unable to receive an update from Nintendo's servers due to a technical issue.

To solve this error :

Try changing the channel on your wireless router to channel 1 or channel 11 which can increase download speeds.

Thank you!

My wii will not update gives me eror 32002

If you get an error code of 32002 or 52030 on you Wii console, this indicates a problem with your Wii communicating with your wireless router. There are a couple things you can try/check to help fix this problem.

1 - Try using a different channel on your router and update your Wii to take to the router on that channel.

2 - If your router is using WEP (encryption), make sure your Wii is set to the same encryption.

3 - Make sure the MTU values on your router match those entered on your Wii.

Also note that if you make changes to your wireless router and you have a computer that uses that router too, you'll need to update your computer to match the new settings on your router.

Error code 32002 when trying to get updates to allow access to wii shop, how to resolve?

Error Code: 32002 The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection servers could be experiencing a high amount of traffic. Please try your connection again later.
If you have waited several hours and are still unable to connect, there could be an issue with your connection. Please review the folliwing information:

  • Ensure you have entered the correct DNS into the Wii console's manual settings (link). You can verify this by following these steps:
    1. Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer.
    2. Click "Run."
    3. Type "cmd" into the box and press Enter.
    4. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press Enter.
    5. The Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS (first listed), and Secondary DNS (second listed) information will be displayed. Ensure the information you have entered into the Wii console's Manual Settings appear exactly as displayed.
    6. If you have more than one DNS server listed, try switching the first and second in the Wii's primary and secondary DNS server slots.
  • Try temporarily disabling your router's firewall. *
