I have a XL-MP130 and lost my FM antenna when I moved. Does anyone know where I can buy a new one? I really need it to listen to my classical music stations...I did e-mail the Sharp Electronics corporate office as well.
thank you!

FM only works with an antenna, (any) and one came with it new in the box, lost it?
AM works due to build in antenna. (loop stick device)
FM no shuck device, like BOOM box ever see that whip antenna
that is FM (I am Extra class HAM) and know my antenna's well.
lost this you did
There are two types 300 ohm and 75 ohm. Some amps have both types of connection. The 75 ohm type use plugs and cables commonly used for TV aerials and Satellite dishes. The 300 ohm type uses screw clip terminals where you attach a coloured cable. All shown here: The FM socket with the thread on, uses a Satellite connector plug.
Assuming you're talking about listening to radio not CD, I feel like an idiot asking this but do you have an antenna attached to the FM antenna input on the back? If not, attach one. The FM antenna in the power cord is rudimentary at best. Putting your hand on it makes you an antenna so hissing stops. Move away it starts again.
I was wandering the same thing, but another option is a AM/FM Transmitter. you can buy one at stores like best buy. You plug your Music Device (iPhone, iPod..etc.) into it and it transmits it to a AM or FM band so you can tune into it with the AM/FM function and listen to your music so you dont hvae to buy a new radio.
put a 3 foot piece of wire on it.does the same thing.any parts house will have an antenna ,and for sure an authorized panasonic repair depot...they are listed in the back of the warranty book for the radio
yes you can. ebay search a mini usb to 3.5 mm adapter. plug it into your krazr, razr, etc. then any FM transmiter with a 3.5 mm plug can be used to listen to the music
