i want get solution for my 3050 xerox machine. while taking the copy the background coming black, idon't know the reason, i changed explosure lamp, primary corona end block, tonner, but till the problem is background black, if one copy comes clear another copy will be black. if know the solution kindly pass the message to my cell no.7760191629.
By the "light bulb," do you mean the scanner lamp? That lamp should only turn on when you are actually scanning, faxing, or copying a document. You should be able to still use the machine to scan and fax, even with the yellow ink empty. Try scanning a document to see if the scanner lamp comes on.
As far as printing or copying goes, you won't be able to print or copy anything until you replace the yellow ink, even if you try printing in black and white only.
Sir the AFR-12 is the document feeder desiignation, the machine model number is located on the back of the machine or the right hand side of the machine (You saw the AFR-12 when you raised the document feeder correct?) As for copies being black the drum/cleaning blade mite need replacing. Remove the orginal glass the big sheet of glass and clean the optics use no liquids just a clean paper towel, there are about four minors two the right side plus clean the expose lamp (Bright lite that lites up) to copy the orginal be gentill. remove the black cover on the right hand side two mirrors under there The model mite be a EP2010, 2030, 2080, and or 3000?
FIRST test copying. if the copy come out completely black, then the exposure or scanner lamp or contact image sensor is dead,not lighting on. Now if the copy has black only black lines on it,then you can clean the place where the document passes thru where the light of the exposure lamp projects unto the text of the document being scan,which is the small glass on the left side of the platen glass when you open the auto document feeder.NOTE: Lay your document on top of the platen glass & make copy if the copy come out clean as you needed it,then the lamp is O.K. Then the small glass just need to be clean. If the copy is completely "BLACK", then the lamp is dead, or the circuit that control it. In thus case then you need a technician to do it
if you are getting copy quality issues on all aspects of the machine, IE, printing, copying, ADF, it looks like then you might need a new drum installed. please contact your local service department for service and make sure if you need supplies, to have those on hand before calling a tech to come service the machine. drums, developers, and toner are considered a supply item and are NOT carried by technicians unless otherwise stated in your local contract.
