My Ant A Input Not Working

When I went to bed last night, my system was working fine. I don't know if there was a power-outage last night or what, but we turned on the TV this morning and none of our channels are showing on our normal ANT A input, it is just static. I tried the "Home Theatre, Locked to Input 1" quick fix, and I made sure that it was off. I tried to re-memorize the channels in setup, adn the only two options that I have to memorize, are Ant-B Cable and Ant-B Air, it doesn't let me get to Ant A options, like that manual says that I should be able to. Please help!

Good Day, babt;
TRY THIS:

MAY ONLY BE ABLE TO SELECT ANTENNA A AND B. WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL PRESS MENU, SELECT "SET UP" AND THEN "AV CONNECTION HOME THEATER" SET "AV NETWORK" TO "OFF" AND "TV LOCKED TO INPUT 1" TO "NO" THEN EXIT THE CUSTOMER''S MENU, TURN THE UNIT OFF UNPLUG IT AND THEN PLUG IT BACK IN, IF THE PROBLEM RETURNS AN E2 RESET IS NEEDED. ACCESS THE OPTION MENU BY PRESSING "MENU 1, 3, 7, 0", USE THE ADJUST BUTTON TO SELECT "E2 RESET" AND PRESS "QV". IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED BY THE E2 RESET REPLACE THE EEPROM, IC701 PART # 275P163010. THE E2 RESET IS ALSO NECESSARY AFTER REPLACEMENT OF IC701.
Good Luck, big IRISH.

After power outage, had similar issue. Simply set AV NETWORK to "OFF" and "TV LOCKED TO INPUT 1" to "NO". Worked wonderfully. Thanks a lot.

Last night the tv was fine i turned it on this

Unplug 20 minutes. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the set.

Try with the original manufacturer remote to view setup menu.

Power outages come at night. This sometimes resets the TV and other devices. .

No Picture

How many hours on the projector lamp? It is possible that it just reached the end of it's life. Most lamps have a life of somewhere between 4000 to 6000 hours of life. If your TV has PIP, try going to that mode. If you can see a picture in any of the PIP modes the lamp is OK. If that works, then it is probably a hardware issue on the video board. A service tech will have to diagnose your issue. Let us know the outcome and good luck.

Tv won't turn on

I had a similar problem when there was a power outage or the lights went briefly out. I unplugged the TV and left it for a few days/weeks and then plugged it in and the TV worked. I think newer TVs should be treated like a home computer and put them on surge protectors.

No Power to my TV after power outage

A lot of times its simply a fuse that goes out. Either way someone is going to have to open it up and inspect the fuses first. It 's a fairly inexpensive service call.

Hopefully the fuse took the hit from the storm.
