What does it mean when it says that the remote party has ended this connection
When I try and connect to the internet it comes up with an information browser that says, "The remote party has ended this connection?" Is there something wrong with the phone or with the service provider At&t?

I work for at&t and have seen this problem before there are 2 things you should try. First, try doing a soft reset by removing the battery from the phone while it is still on, and if that doesn't work you should go to your nearest Corporate Owned retail store and have a rep check it out in the system, it can be fixed usually by removing your data feature and readding it to your account. If this doesn't solve the problem then the rep should contact the tech dept., who has to go into the network and fix it on their end.

If you use thenthe
problem is with the gprs settings provided by airtel. it doesn't allow
the third party software to use internet. so the problem
can easily be solved by making manual settings. use the following settings
proxy 1 :010.010.001.100, port 1:9201,
DNS 1:202.056.240.005, DNS :202.056.230.005,
GPRS APN: airtelgprs.com
this will work for airtel.
and leave the other options blank. skip the entry if any of the above is not asked in settings on your cell phone.
1. Unplug the power cable from your high-speed internet modem. 2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable (included) to the number 1 port on the router. 3. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on your computer. 4. Connect an Ethernet cable from your high-speed Internet modem into the Internet port on the router. 5. Plug the power back into your high-speed internet modem. Plug the power adapter into the router and wait 30 seconds before plugging it into a power outlet. 6. Wait 30 seconds for the router to fully connect and open an Internet browser window (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari). Type http://vizio.home or http://192.168.1.1 in the browser window and press Enter. The Quick Start App will automatically start.
I would immediately contact your network operator and explain the problem to them. This one sounds out of your control unless you have changed any of the APN settings. If you don't know what I am talking about then call them now!
