Hi, is your mp3 player has a reset button? have a look from from the entire casing for any small button for reset and if you found one then press it to reset the system.your player should be working fine.sometimes the reset button are found on the mains PCB of the unit so you need to open the cover of the mp3 player to access the reset button.
next option
remove the battery from the unit then press and hold the power button atleast 10 seconds return the battery and power on again..
third option,
if all two methods don't work I would suggest to bring your mp3 player to store where you bought it and ask for a repair of the service center. The software application of your mp3 player is corrupted only the manufacturer can have it re install the software...
good luck and let me know how it goes...
Welcome to Fixya
Hi. Deleting those stuff wont do harm to the MP3 player. Because the procdeure on how to restore the MP3 player to factory state is by doing a drive format. Formatting the drive will delete everything inside the mp3 palyer. Please see documentation for this player.
Thank you for using Fixya!

try to format the drive to reset the player back to factory setings.
it is already in the dcumentation. go to this sitehttp://www.machspeed.com/manuals/8033man... and look at the page that says FORMATTING YOU MP3 PLAYER.
what windows are you using? did you go to MY COMPUTER and see if you have extra harddrive there other than your C drive.
alright.. just inform me what happened. If computer still cant detect the player then you might need to bring it to the repair center have the software reinstalled to the unit.

You still didn't tell me why it says playlist generating please wait and because it says that we couldn't of formatted anything anyways how do I get off of the screen I never formatted anything so this has nothing to do with solving my problem. So why is it taking so long?
I never formatted anything, because the screen says "playlist generating please wait". It won't leave this screen it's taking a long time. Why is that? It has nothing to do with formatting just downloading songs and deleting unwanted files. Thought that I messed up deleting tools and manual, but since you said that I didn't then why does it keep saying "playlist generating please wait" it's already been 4 hrs.
Do you mean format it from the computer and if so what do I do to format it? How do you format?
ok i have the mp3 player now it will not register into the computer with the usb cord it is still saying playlists generating please wait and i dont know what to do it wont even let me format it
I am gonna try to let the battery die and see if the computer will recognize it or reset itself but i need to know why it won't recognize it. Thanks,
Heather McGill
I don't use windows I use firefox web browser off of a ubuntu program and can't find where the option of my computer is. I tried running the battery out plugged in into the usb cord and it still says playlist generating please wait. I even had a friend of mine look at it and the computer won't recognize the player. For future references Do you have any idea what I did wrong so that I don't do it again. Please forgive me I am just upset that I broke my friends mp3 player Thank you for trying to help.
What software are you talking about can I find it online and install it myself?
