My Lumix DMC-FX8 won't turn on. I've charged the battery until the charger light was green and tried again but it just won't turn on. Help me please. Any solutions?

First thing you need to check is if you inserted the battery in the correct direction.

Second possible reason, is if LCD is turned off even when the camera is turned on. In this case, possible that you set the camera into the power save mode or economy mode activated. What you just need to do isto press the shutter button halfway to cancel this modes.

Camera will not turn on
Try taking out the battery, then putting it back in. Also consider using a replacement battery to see if that's the issue. Your problem might be addressed in the user manual for the device:

Hi,

My suggestion would be to try with new set of battery.

You can also try this.
Remove the battery and clean the contacts between the camera and battery and insert it. Sometimes tapping the camera on the palm 3-4 times bit gently too fixes the problem.

How to charge Panasonic lumix DMC-FS4
hello there use your USB cable for charging your camera battery. No need to take out the battery from camera. Some Tips.
  • You may choose our Smart Charger (0.5A,UL listed) for 3.7 V Li-Ion battery Pack to recharge this battery pack. Must charge the battery pack with correct polarity. The estimated charging time is 2.76 hours .
  • You may connect two 3.6v 920 mah pack in either series or parallel connection for making a higher voltage and higher capacity pack.
