Hello i hope u 'll be fine.... thanks for using fixya.

As soon as you type three times wrong security codes, the phone gets blocked and ask u for the PUK.

• Simple solution is go to your service provider to unlock that code, They 'll unblock the PUK free, Then u 'll be able to access your phone without the security code

hello there....well its quite simple...
1)......there is nothing wrong with your phone ...its your SIM... if it is asking for a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code...call your subscriber and ask them for PUK code,entering this code will reset your sim

if u keep entering wrong your sim will be damaged so call them

If the error message is saying sim damaged call them and ask for a "sim replacement" you will get a new sim while you will retain the same number ,however you will lose the phone numbers and other data stored in sim,this can be free but it depends on the company and how 'customer friendly they are

2).......to unlock the phone to any network you need to call the customer care of your original network provider..just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....this is a paid service and charges differ from network to network

that should solve the problem.....you will be able to use any sim in your phone of any service around the world

It's a 10 digit number.
If you cannot find the PUK number please contact your phone company.
