Question about Sony Ericsson T68i Cellular Phone
Hi, I was given the above phone by a family member but the opening screen says "phone locked, phone lock code:".
I have been in contact with the person who gave me the phone but the cant remember what the code is, I have tried 0000 as surgested in the manual but that doesn't work.
Can you help?
Ok, THIS WILL WORK! It worked on my W580i and it wasn't even supposed
to. FIRST! Download (8.8MB) XS++ From
SECOND! No install. It just runs.
Make sure you have ALL drivers for YOUR phone. That should be under the bettery. Under model... or something like that. HERE! http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/Sony_Ericsson.html
Take your phone, turn it off. Start this program and click on connect. You'll have 30 seconds to plug your phone into your computer and HOLD C The entire time! (the delete button or 2). If connected, then click at the button: GDFS. There will be a phone lock reset to "0000". Click it. It will take no more than 45 seconds. I promise. Unplug your phone, and vuala! If your phone won't turn on, try pulling out the battery, putting it back and trying again. This program is also good for flashing phones, and putting flash menus on your phone. Also unlocking it and debranding it. GOOD LUCK!

Hello there....well its quite simple...
1)......there is nothing wrong with your phone ...its your SIM... if it is asking for a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code...call your subscriber and ask them for PUK code, entering this code will reset your sim
if u keep entering wrong your sim will be damaged so call them
If the error message is saying sim damaged call them and ask for a "sim replacement" you will get a new sim while you will retain the same number ,however you will lose the phone numbers and other data stored in sim, this can be free but it depends on the company and how 'customer friendly they are
2).......to unlock the phone to any network you need to call the customer care of your original network provider..just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....this is a paid service and charges differ from network to network
that should solve the problem.....you will be able to use any sim in your phone of any service around the world
Hope this help
