Press the reset button on the bottom of the camera. Then power the camera off, and power it back on again. "I have a DSC-P50 and was encountering the same problem. I went in to the camera set-up mode with the memory stick removed and changed serveral options (Don't remember which ones, although I do remember trying to change the "Format" setting) When I re-inserted the memory stick, the camera worked. " E 61 00 Difficult to adjust focus Inspect the lens block focus reset sensor
E 61 10 Zoom operations fault Inspect the lens block zoom reset sensor
E 62 00 Steadyshot function does not work well. Inspect pitch angular velocity sensor

Hope helps.

There seems to be an issue maybe with the zoom aspect of the device. One person fixed it by turning on the device and catching the zooming drum as it was coming out. Prevent it from extending all the was until it starts to retract again. Then let it go.

Pictures still blurry

Instead of green auto mode set to P mode and chagne the flash setting to non auto.If flash is is in auto mode flash will not fire and picture will be blurry. So your flash must fire every time (and it must not be decided by camera's auto flash mode).
I am sure this will solve your settings.

My pictures turn out blurry

try using a camera tripod or leaning against something sturdy, like a building or tree, especially when really zoomed in! As the light dims, the camera will choose a slower shutter speed and/or wider aperture (in automatic) to produce a picture that is not too dark. As a result, the camera may take blurry pictures, especially if the camera or subject moves. There is a setting for landscape, which uses a very small aperture, and just about everything from close to far away can be in focus. Hope this helps!

Microsoft lifecam vx-3000 blurry

The circle/ring that the lens is enclosed in, can actually turn. Try turning it anti-clockwise (to the left). At first I thought it wouldn't turn as it was really tight turning it to my right, but I learned fast. Good luck.

Powershot SD30 taking blurry pics.

dust could have gotten insode making the focus lens to stick.

you might have to take it to a camera shop for a good cleaning.

dusty places are always bad for electronics.

but sounds like the focus lens is failing, there might be an option to clean the lens electroniclly, most canon has the option. not sure about sony.

good luck

Blurry pictures

You're both right. The pictures are blurry because the shutter speed is too slow, but it's too slow because there isn't enough light for it to be faster. Try this: Set the ISO to 800 Set the camera at shutter priority mode, and enter 1/160 for wide angle to mid-zoom, and 1/400 for full zoom. If the pictures come out too dark ( and you're too far to use the flash ), you can always brighten them on the computer. But if they're blurry, you can't really fix that.
