New phone i just brought this phone on ebay and i have an optus sim card but it has a telstra lock how can i take that lock off?

You can get the Unlock code for Nokia e63 from SuperUnlockCodes.com .There you have to give your Country and current network name along with your IMEI number to get unlock code.They will give you unlock code along with instruction on how to unlock.Follow the instruction correctly and unlock your Nokia e63 .After unlocking you can use the Telstra SIM card in it.

go to optus and sort it out
might need an optus PUK code to unlock the sim card

the sim card it came, i don't get why it needs the original one though.

the only way to unlock a phone is to call the original company andtell them u want it unlocked for international travel. using it for another co. is illegal though so be carefull!

two ways this can be resolved
1. have the unlocked either via direct flash or special code
2. purchase a TURBO SIMM AND THAT WIL allow you to use the phone cost 10pounds
