I have a Smeg dishwasher which has worked perfectly up to this week. It now stops approximately 16 minutes from the end of the cycle and shows the error message E 8.
I have unfortunately been unable to find the manual or code on the product to provide these details for you. I look forward to your reply.
Many thanks

IF IT ENDS UP WITH WATER SHOWING AT THE END OF EVERY WASH THEN THE DRAIN PUMP IS JAMMED OR FAILED THE DISHWASHER PROG WILL JUST KEEP LOOPING BACK TRYING TO DRAIN THE WATER.
E2 shows that the water level switch has been tripped or its faulty, interupt the programm and switch off the dishwasher then switch it on ,programm it again and start the washing cycle again,if the problem persist then test the water level switch for possible replacement
you should check the heating element. if the water is not hot enough, the timer will not advance. crack open the door mid-cycle. let the water stop flying around. then open it all the way up. if you don't get a big ball of steam, you have an indication that your heating element may not be working properly. this is not too hard to check the resistance with a multimeter and then replace, if necessary. good luck
My dish washer stops after i5 minutes, don't know what the problem is, water is going in but just suddenly stops, i changed the hose but still the same. Any help welcome
Repair guy came out and after an hour of taking things to bits and not finding a leak , we managed to identify the problem as originating from a faulty door seal at the top door lock ( it was ever so slightly dented in/warped) which had caused the water to track through the door lock down into the machine and trip the electrics after 30 minutes in the cycle. He'd never heard of this happening before - just my luck!!
Door seal replaced and ( so far) everything working fine.
Check to make sure there r no kinks’ in the drain line or
that it is not clogged it sounds like the sensor is tripping because there is
too much strain on the pump just like a breaker.
