I purchased a Humminbird 787c2 and the navionics gold card EAST and when i load the card there is very little change in the standard screen. Not as advertised.

i have lost my maps on the gold card Australia e&n i have not taken the card out of my lowrance gps sounder lms 339c since new some three & a half years can they be restored i have had no luck trying to contact navionics australia
Hi! Here is a product manual: 787C2 it will tell you how. You will need a blank sd card inserted into the card reader slot in order to take it to your computer, or you can save it to the internal memory as well. See page 42 in the manual for step by step instructions. Hope this helps out!
I had the same problem with my handheld Lowrance Hunt C. After installing the card and locking it in place, I had to slide the card "out" toward the locking mechanism. It barely moves, but worked after that. Whenever I load the card, I now slide it out and it works every time.
Hi! You NEED to have a gps lock in order for the card to show it's true potential. Also check in the menu for a setting that says "Map detail" and change it to all available. It could be the setting is on a lesser choice (like the internal mapping and not the new sd card) Hope this helps! Mike
