Hi,
Time to replace the lamp of you projector.Lighting up of the orange light indicates that. All the projectors comes with self disorganizing program. if there is any complaint except power supply that will indicated by the projector by its self disorganizing system.
switch OFF the projector for some time. then power it ON. if picture come then first of all reset the lamp hour timer. To do the same do the follwing
1. Press the menu button and press rear click button or select button
2. Select settings press the rear click or select button
3. On setting display select Lamp age and press the rear click or select button
4. Move the arrow to Yes and press the rear click select button
OK will displayed and wait for your conformation
5. Move the arrow to Yes and press the rear click or select button

if there is no picture when you switch on the projector then go for a new lamp. you hve to do the reset procedure after replacing the lamp. It is always recommended the you should reset the lamp hour only after replacing the lamp.

Why is our Proxima Desktop Projector 8000 turning off after a period of time?

There is a THERMAL fuse that is used to prevent fires and electrical destruction of the unit. Lamps get very hot and unless the AIR flow is good, the temperature gets too hot and shuts down the system. The fan speed may be too low, the unit may need to be cooled down with an exterior fan? Try options.

I have a KDP-65WS550 when i turn the power on it shuts off by itself, I've tried all the reccomended fixes and none have worked, the red light is blinking 10 times

Hello Mike
I don't know what else have you done with your TV. Yet, from the number of blinking code, I do understand that its video out board has the trouble. But, before going forward with you I want to know whether you are aware in electronics and have some experience in serivce TVs, and can follow the schematic diagrams, if I send it to you. If you aren't aware in electronics and cannot follow the circuit diagram of this set, there is no use of going forward. If you are confident, inform me. I'm ready to assist you. OK.

Need to calibrate my projector but i need services codes

try volume up-down, video, effect, computer, or volume down-up and different combinations of video, effect and computer. It's been along time since I serviced one of these but trial and error should give you the factory menu.

Image is red

if the entire image is red but still clear, try brand new cables. If that doesn't fix it then the lcd cable could be unplugged or the lcd panel itself could be bad.

I have a proxima s540 ultra lite data

From what you describe, it sounds like a fan isn't working. When you turn on a projector, it will go through a quick self test--checking that everything is operating correctly. Some of the fans send out a signal to the main board telling it that they are running. If no signal is received, the board senses this and auto-shut down occurs to protect the unit from heat damage. The errant fan could be spinning but the computer pulse might not be being generated. It will require a tech to find this out.

Inspiron Battery Light Flashing Orange

Battery.

Dell has a chip internal to the battery programed to shut down after a certain number of charge cycles. This means every time you plug the laptop in with the battery installed. When it reaches this determined number the battery effectively shuts down, even though technically it's still good. There have been loads of complaints on the net toward Dell over this issue. I have myself experience this. Battery good one day, powered down, went home, powered up... only to receive the deadly flashing light. Only cure is to replace battery. Several hacks trying to get around this but they're all horrible. Bad Dell - bad, bad Dell!
