I am trying to connect my Bose Wave Radio to my Yamaha RX S 70 receiver so that I can listen to the radio through my speakers. Right now the speakers are connected to the Yamaha...but radio isn't playing...

There's actually 2 ways of doing this.

Using the variable out connections on the Bose, connect your L&R channels to the desired input, I recommend the auxillary, on your Yamaha and select that input. Turn the volume all the way down on your Yamaha. Turn the volume on your Bose all the way up; then readjust the volume as desired on your Yamaha.

Optional connection; the headphone jack. Connect a 3.5mm mini to stereo plug cable from the Bose to Yamaha in the manner described as above and use the volume control approximately the same way.

How do you connect the sandisk to a bose radio?

Hi, Does the radio have any connections on the back. Perferably RCA or a mini jack
Now you still need a patch cord one with your Ipod jack on and an rca connection on the other which you can get at any electroic stores (radio shack or audio/ video stores). GOOD LUCK.

I want to connect my computer audio out "green audio cable" into my Bose 3-2-1 "audio in" jack so I can hear the computer sounds. How do I do it and what do I need to buy?

The audio output jack on the computer (green) takes a 1/8-inch stereo plug, also called a mini-stereo plug. On the Bose rear panel, the audio inputs are red and white RCA jacks. So you need an adapter cable with suitable plugs on each end. Radio Shack sells a couple of them in different lengths. Here's a link to one of them so you can see what it looks like.

All you need to do is plug in the cable at each end, select the rear audio input source on your Bose, and you're in business. Make sure you have the computer volume set to its full level in the Windows sound settings so you'll get the best performance.

If you need a copy of the Bose owner's manual for reference, you can find it here at Bose.

Anyway to use Bose companion 3 system without the control pod?

had the same issue. Trial and error - I tried shorting every pair in the control pod dock with a paper clip. Turns out it is totally possible to bypass. You need two: top row, right side to third row, one from the right (below it by two spaces), and second row (there are only two in the second row, connect them). One tells it to turn on, the other passes audio through. I'm only getting sound from the right channel, so probably need to connect one more pair...

Unable to connect ipod

Reset the radio (it has a processor) by just unplugging the power cord for about 30+ seconds and plugging it back in. If this doesn't solve the problem, try replacing the remote battery (CR2032- can be found almost everywhere batteries are sold) If all else fails, call Bose tech support. The cable you connected has nothing to do with this.

Ipod nano connector for Bose 321 GS Series III

OK! The cheapeast and most simple way would for you is to get a 1/8th inch conector jack that adapts into red/white RCA jacks (it will have a couple feet of wire in between the jacks) plug the 1/8 inch adapter into the jack on I-POD and the RED/WHITE ends into the back of your systems aux inputs RED/WHITE! OR tape input ect! make sure I-POD is turned up! and you may have to adjust I pod eq to get the best sound out of system! (OH you can get this adatper at any radio shack or wall-mart!)
