The keyboard will NOT show up on MY COMPUTER as it does not have memory to record and save MIDI files... It will PLAY them real time as the computer sends the data to the keyboard. You can't transfer and save the files IN the keyboard. Some higher level keyboards do have memory and even hard drives... this one does not. This one will have some built in,that you can play but even those you cannot access as if they were memory.
With the USB cable connected, you should be able to see the device listed in the device manager section of the control panel under system hardware.
The problem with this keyboard seems to be (as for what I have seen in different forums) that it does not receive the PC midi information, and it does not play it. Any clue? The device is shown in the Panel Control correctly...
I got it know, using the software Karakeyoke. Not the best interface, but it even has training programs. Note I used the Generic 88 keys keyboard instead of the preset LK-230, as it did not work correctly.
