My olympus FE-190 keeps making this clicking noise and the lenses are stuck outside and will not go in..Can i fix this?
If the internal lens barrel gets knocked out of alignment it will cause that condition. If the camera senses that the lens is not in the proper position or not moving, it will turn back off rather than cause more damage. Pushing on the lens barrel to try to fix it will usually cause more problems than it already has. It has to be disassembled to be repaired.
at this point you may also want to check on your warranty status.

I ahve the same problem with my FE-190, the lens tries to stabilize while the camera is turned on but never finished and turns off.
I took apart and didn't find anything broken or missing so I closed and try again no diferences.
is there any way i can get the lens back into place by myself?
I have a similar problem with my FE-190, but he lens is stuck in. When the camera is switched on it makes a wiring and clicking noise but nothing happens.
My camera is well out of warranty, so I thought I'd take it apart to see if I can see anything phyically wrong with it. Could someone please tell me how to achieve this? I have taken the back of the camera off (4 screws on the left side, 2 on the right and 3 on the bottom). But I can't work out how to remove the LCD display and board to get to the barrel mechanism.
