There should be a button with an icon of a lightning bolt. Press that button and watch the screen...when you see a lightning bolt with a diagonal line through it, your flash is off.

From page 52: After you have cycled-power, you need to go to the Setup1 screen and select "Initialize" and choose "OK" with the up arrow and then press the circle button. Again press the up arrow and circle to select "OK" to reset the camera to default. settings.

Hi! Try initializing the camera. Error 91 is a flash error in Sony cameras. It is probably a dead flash fuse on the motherboard (most common problem) or a faulty flash board.
