I have a simple problem with the SAITEK pro flight yoke. The LED display does not turn on. The usb is plugged correctly and the yoke functions correctly. All is working properly but the LED DISPLAY. Any ideas?

You MUST find the driver disk or call tech support 1-800-659-2287 for a new one. Maybe they can send you a link with the drivers.

If the yoke has an external power supply, you'll need to use that. Otherwise, make sure that your drivers are up to date as well as any software.

If the LCD is not working then it is likely that required drivers are either not working or missing. Try downloading updated drivers from the Saitek website.

Try basic troubleshooting first, try to remove and reconnect the ps/2 and usb of the saitek pro flight, also try to put it in different usb ports to see if maybe a usb port is not working, lastly when all else fails try to connect it in another computer and see if it works.

It's because your laptop USB port cannot supply sufficient power for both. Try buying a powered USB hub. it should do the trick. cheers.

my problem is the same. yoke is canceled after 10 minutes. If you solve the problem , you tell us about?

This is a know fault on Saitek yokes that is now cured. take it back and explain that it is suffering from "Ghost button pushing" and they should change it for a unit that has been updated. This problem is well documented on the web.

The yoke has effectively got a USB hub built in, and it sounds like your throttles are getting power from the hub okay, but the yoke is not. Suggest you return it for a replacement to Saitek

Ensure you have installed the drivers for it. If you don't have them, go to Saitek web site, download and install the correct one's for your operating system. Also ensure that the yoke is plugged into the USB port on the rear of the PC as these USB sockets give the most power. Additionally, you have to set the yoke up in FSX\Settings so it knows what to do with it with regard to calibrating it and assigning what buttons do what.

Remove the X52 and drivers from your system. You have to install them in a certain order, so look in the documentation for the correct way to install and you will be okay. Good luck
