I have a samsung Digital Cam VP-DC163 left it recording and is ran out of power charged the battery now it will switch on but nothing else will not even switch off you have to pull the batter to turn it off battery back in and switch on the light comes on nut nothing else if you put your ear on the unit you hear slight clicking view secs then nothing pc recognizes it and can access files HOW DO I RESET THE UNIT? ps tried taking internal bat out made no difference HELP

put a fully charged battery, there is a changeover switch

Take it back to the repairer. A connector may have come unplugged when it was re-assembled.

I have a cam corder model VP-D361 PAL, since i brought i could not use it even a single time, for the past 2 yrs it was kept as it was brought in packed condition, i was using other cam corder of jvc, when i opened and start using it, i found a triangle and a D on the screen, several attepts made by taking out battery, and casset. but still same thing appears,(AFTER REFERING TO USERS MANUAL) it may be a simple problem, or a defective one, since brought a single minute is also not used, kindly help me to solve this problem from a local serviceing centre.at mumbai, india.

Hi, You need to connect the cam and PC using 4 pin firewire cable.
Switch on the cam.
Open Windows Movie Maker and import the video from device.

I have a brand new VP-D31. It still has the protector on the screen. I acquired this (legally!) but it has no charger,cables, battery or any etcs. I got it from the Police Auctions and was too ignorant to understand what I was getting. The item was obviously stolen from a store shelf - hence no bits. How about you buy it from me?

what ever size disc your using simply dont record the whole disc, example if you are recording on a 30min dvd-r only record 28mins then finalising will not be a problem.
