The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a baby bottle be washed after every feeding with hot water and soap, then allowed to dry thoroughly. ... While your mother and grandmother may have used boiling water to sterilize baby bottles, doctors say there is no longer a need to do this.
No you cannot........umbrella strollers are for toddlers aged 12 months and up. A 5 month child cannot sit upright to begin with. If you are flying, then request for " Bassinet Seating".....these are the front rows of the plane which have place for bassinets to be installed in which your child can sleep during the flight. Also my best suggestion would be to carry your baby in a baby sling or backpack carrier as these may help you carry baby quickly through an airport while in transit. hope this helps!
I'm in the same boat as your wife...new baby huh?
Aside from the lack of sleep,is she totally fatigued?
Try taking turns with the night feedings. If she is breast feeding, try changing the baby for her,or try and wake up when it's time to feed. You could help by holding the baby up to her.
Make sure your wife is eating well and perhaps start taking a multi-vitamin if she isn't already.
Have the doctor check her iron levels as well. Low iron will make things worse. No energy, cold all the time, etc.
If at all possible try and let her nap as much as she feels she needs.
Maybe you know someone that can come over and help her while you are not home. Even a friend that can just hang out and give her a hand with the chores.
Maybe you could do the laundry/house cleaning/cooking for her once in awhile? Just don't get angry with her if your clothes aren't clean or supper isn't ready when you are.
Having a new baby is one of the hardest things to cope with. When the little one starts sleeping through the night you will notice a huge difference in mom.
My son only woke up 4 times last night, and that was the best sleep I've had in 6 months! I feel great today!
Another worry is post-natal/partum depression. She may start to want to sleep all the time and get very cranky. She could also suffer from insomnia(the inability to fall and stay asleep). She will need to see a doctor for those problems.
Just try and help out when and where you can,and above all love her and show her your support, but it sounds like you are already supportive. : )
I had this same problem and I figured it out!! So, I'll share. You click on one food that you made and then you scroll down until you can't see the food that you clicked on. Then you click on another food. Then, you click on the check mark. Do that again two more times. Then the feed bowl will light up and you push feed and it works!!!!
I think you would have to turn off the sleep timer mode completely or increase its ON time span, say to 4 hours or so
or the lenth of time you have the TV on for. If that does not fix it then it sounds like a STANDBY MODE fault problem.
Hope this helps.
the problem with ella solved well for me it has been so try this.......
take the game back to ella being delivered by her mum do everything in this order feed her, rock her in the chair, play with her with the rattle 3 times, bath her, change her nappy get her ready for bed (babygrow or trousers and t shirt, put her in her cot and rock her keep the stylis as close to the blue ball as you can and make sure the ball hits each end it takes a while but she will put her thumb in her mouth and go onto her side keep rocking for about 30 seconds after she has gone to sleep when she wakes up her mum will come and get her and I love my son-in-law for telling me how to do it thank you.
