Radio reset codes - 2001 Ford Focus

Look in boot left had side and radio code in stuck to bodywork

I have a 2001 focus ..radio suddenly stopped playing after being at garage.  I thought that the battery was disconnected and the radio neede reset code, as it has a rad blinking dash anti-theft light.  i went to ford garage and they told me they don't have reset codes on the focus.  Is this true?

Please assist with resetting a locked 10 status of my Ford Focus 2001 2l engine. Model AYJMM4401,. The radio/cd 6000 CD RDS E.O.N.

I called Ford Germiston 3 times, a technician has not called back as the receptionist promissed.

If the car battery has been disconnected the radio shuts down. to reset the radio you will need the serial number which is on the side of the radio. REMOVE THE RADIO. take this number to your ford dealer and they will give you the four digit code to reset your radio. if you cannot remove the radio yourself your ford dealer will do this for a small fee.

Cd /radio may have an anti theft code to reset..sometimes removing the radio and getting the serial number then call your dealer may provide the code to reset the radio cd/player..but do call your dealer first before removing unit....did you check fuses? Check to see if unit is getting power?
May have to disconect battery while removing unit,,don't want to set off an air bag...
