Hello, Yes you need to replace your battery, because the error you are receiving is coming from the battery connection.
Hi...
The best thing to try 1st,remove the battery and use just the power adapter,as this will power the laptop up,
If the laptop stays on with no problems, then yes it certainly looks like your battery, but if it still gives you problems then it can only 1 of 3 things...
1,The power adapter, even if the charge light is on it may be faulty due to evey so often it may have a drop in voltage......
2,The charging port going into your laptop, may be coming detached from the motherboard, try wiggling the end of the power adapter going into your laptop....but only slightly...and just look at the bottom right hand side of the screen,to see if the charge connection change,s if it does then you will need another charging port......
3,It may be a charging issue with the motherboard, charging the battery....but this is quite rare,,,but still possible...but once you have removed the battery and followed the 2 top resolutions then you should have a better idea what the problem is..
Hope this helps...if it does great and please take the time to rate this...
Regards
So, I came to the conclusion that is WAS my actual AC adapter... but now that isn't working very well either. Do you think this will be expensive to fix?
What the adapter connected to your motherboard..
If so depends where you go to get it fixed, how old is the laptop..can you get it done under warranty..
you are looking anywhere between.....100 pounds to 200 pounds,i,ve even seen bills going towards the 300 mark...
when i fix them it depends on what it intails to strip the laptop down to access it,but i suggest you shop around for a good quote...you may get it done abit cheaper
