Hi,
you might need to enable UPNP, or disable a firewall on the internal traffic. Make sure multicast is enabled, and the devices is in the same IP scope.
that all devices have ip´s like:
IP: 192.168.0.??? (where ??? is unique to each device)
Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Net flex stops streaming movie tells me try different movie but does it on all of them but streams on my laptop and samgsung tablet just fine dont stop on them

HOW DO I GET A NETFLIX ACTIVATION CODE?
If you are using a PC device you shouldn't need an activation code from netflix to stream movies (I am assuming that is what you are wanting to do).

However if you are looking to stream on this device or any other device like a PS3 or an XBOX 360 then what you do is

1. Log into your account

2. Click on the link in the upper right (Your Account & Help)

3. Scroll through the page and find the link (Manage Netflix reading devices and computers) under the header WATCHING INSTANTLY ON YOUR TV OR COMPUTER.

4. Click on Attach a device

5. If you are using a console like a PS3 or XBOX360 you will need to go to the media section of the device and select netflix and it should run you through a set up to get the activation code.

Once you have all that you should be able to stream netflix through the device you wish to use.

There are multiple ways to stream Netflix over a high speed internet connection. You will need a device to run the Netflix streaming - your choices are Playstation3, Wii, Xbox, Tivo Premiere, or a Roku box. You could potentially use a computer connected to your TV to stream it as well, but the computer would need the appropriate outputs to hook up to your TV.

No, if you want to stream music and videos you can use windows media center, windows media player, But my favorite is tversity it can stream almost any format audio and video. you may also need to download a item from the market place that lets you stream. its like xbox media pack.

How do i get windows media to work on my xbox
To use your Xbox360 as a Media Center Extender, you must "link" the Xbox to your Media Center PC. Follow these instructions:

This should only need to be done once. If you just want to stream music/movies from your PC, it should be auto-detected by the Xbox as long as it's on the same network. Make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player (version 11).

There may be an update that you require, either that or your poor lil Xbox has contracted an illness, i would try and leave it off for a while, then try again. And also, go through your sons xbox and compare it with what you have on your settings. If anything is different, that may be your problem!

I have a TX SR606, and I have an Xbox360,
In the setup menu go to HDMI setup and see if the HDMI inputs are set to IN1 or IN2 or IN3. If you are not proficient with the setup menu let me know and I'll be glad to send you some info from the owners manual on seting up the inputs.

There's a good article here from Microsoft on setting this up. Have you tried all these steps?

This article here applies if you have a Media Center PC.

Before we can help much more we need to know what operating system you're running and what version of Windows Media. It would also help to know how your PC and Xbox360 are networked together. Additionally, please provide some details on the steps you're following and where exactly it stops working.
