I have a blackberry pearl 8100, and i want to add an email to it, but when i go to the email configuration part, there are only two options, that are "I want to use an email account from blackberry enterprise server", and "I want to skip the email configuration". According to the manuals, there should be a third option that said "I want to configure an email account", without using blackberry enterprise server, just normally. That option doesnt appear. Help please

After opening your browser configuration folder, scroll all the way down until you get to "Home Page Address". From here you can enter your new home page manually or you can just select the "Use Current" option that will make your Home Page the last mobile site you were on before you pressed your BlackBerry button.. sorry to say i have a blackberry 8100 and it has no wifi

im using airtel gsm sim ,so i want to activate gprs so give the manual settings of blackberry pearl of 8100 series

Open up your messages, then click your menu button then go to Options. Click on General options, there will be alot there, scroll down until you see something like "SMS and Email Inboxes". Click on that to change the options, the choices are: Theme Controlled, Seperate, Combined.

Check to see how long your mail is configured for retention.

Open your in-basket. Press the menu button, and select "options".

Scroll to the bottom and the last option is "keep messages". You can set this for anywhere from 15 days to forever.

Well, glad its working. Interestingly under profiles, I don't have an advanced settings and it seems like what I setup applies globally. Looks like your configuration might be different.

Please try 00000000 or 0000 or 1234 try those options. if they dont work kindly reply back
