Incorrect Printer Job History

Hello,
I need to know how can I configure the Print Log Information on Gestetner DSm618.
I look on the print Job History and the User name and User ID is missing.
Under the Status column it says Skipped due to Error but the print jobs are successfully printed. This is a display error that i need to configure. I want to see on the Printer Job history page the User Name and User ID of the user who sends a print job together with the correct status. The information under Document Name, Started At, and Page(s) is ok.
Thanks in advance,
Mihai

Sometimes a job will get caught up in memory. If you've already tried to reset the job from the copier and from your computer, turn the copier off with the main (orange) power switch and unplug it from the network cable and the wall. Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Hi,

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue

The print queue and Dock printer icon
When you start a print job, you will see your printer icon appear in your Dock. Click the Printer icon to open the print queue, which is a list of print jobs that are printing, on hold, or paused. The print queue will also display messages sent from the printer.
You can alternatively open the print queue from the Print & Fax pane of System Preferences.

  1. Delete - Deletes the selected print job.
  2. Hold / Resume - Will hold / resume the selected print job.
  3. Job Info - Shows details of the selected print job, such as job name, status, Completed, Job Message, and so forth.

  8. Scanner - Visible if you have a multi-function printer connected via USB. Click it to set the Print Queue into Scanner mode.
You can see what your print job looks like with Quick Look. Click the arrow on the print job just to the left of the Status column or select the print job and press the Spacebar.
From the Print Queue menu bar, the "Printer" menu has these additional options:
  1. Customize Toolbar... - Used to add and remove item from the Print Queue's toolbar.
  2. Make Default - Will set the printer pertaining to this Print Queue your default printer.
  3. Print Test Page - Will send the CUPS Printer Test Page to your printer.
  4. Network Diagnostics - Will bring up the Network Diagnostics application, used to check each layer of your network connection.
  5. Log & History - Used to open the Console application and show you the log entries for your current and past print jobs.
  6. Show Printer List - Will open the Print & Fax System Preference showing you the list of Print Queues.

I have a Windows printer set up for the Ricoh 12332C. Jobs are sent and clear the queue, but do not print. They appear to be accepted by the Ricoh - they show in the job history log, but they do not print...

Usually the setting of yout network with your copier/printer setting is mismatched so your printer.copier did not understand. What you can do you should check the system setting of your copier/printer and print it out then you should find the driver of your printer/copier in the add printer hardware secrtion in control panel of your computer network . Before you reinstall it , you should uninstall the previous driver so there is no conflict when you reinstall new driver . Try it

I want to know all error codes for nashua tech dsm618 photocopier AND ITS TROUBLESHOOTING.....

Wow, you'll need a service manual for all of that info. Contact the manufacturer to see if it is available to you, as this information is generally only given to dealers or qualified service techs. However I was able to get a service manual for a Panasonic printer I won without too much trouble ($40 US).

Gestetner 3225

Ax060267,This is the part number of the polygon mirror motor , it is worn out , your machine propably makes a high reving noise aswell when it starts to print , you can go to your nearest rico or gestetner outlet and get a new motor , it sits right in the middle of the machine , sometomes it helps to remove the motor and oil it with a very thin oil , but in mostcases it is beond repair .
