Digital sending scan document shows succeeded in log but does not shows at the receipient end.

For your printing problem, try uninstall and reinstall print drivers in your computer. For your scanning something is wrong with the scanning unit.

Check ADF unit (automatic document feeder) working condition.
For diagnoses : Insert few paper(ex:10papers) in ADF unit & do copying, if UR succeed in copying, ADF is working well.. If not check the fault.
HP M4345 facilitated with digital sending option., for configuring digital sending U need to create shared folder with fully permissions in system. Better visit hp site or google to know about how to create folder.. You can do multiple scanning once configuration completed successfully..for more info visit:

I'm confused? The listed product is a Fax/Modem, not an all-in-one. It doesn't have a scan function. To send a document via a fax, you will need to scan it with a scanner (separate hardware) and then fax it. In Windows 7, a program called Windows Fax and Scan is included. If the devices are installed with the correct drivers, you can do the two steps in one program. Open the program, click on New Fax. Select Insert > Pages from Scanner (only available if the scanner was on and connected when Fax and Scan was started). Scan the document; fill in the contact information for the receipient and send. The Contact information may take a few steps since it is a Windows Contact page.

It will be that the receipient hasnt opened the email maeesage if you have receipt of message facility active, or that the email address you have is wrong or typed in incorrectly. Either way, if the message hasnt reached the receipient's mail server then you wil get an error message saying this.

The operation flow of sending faxes is as follows.
Step 1:
Load the original to send on the Platen Glass or the ADF.
Step 2 :
Adjust the fax quality and scan contrast.
Step 3 :
Dial the receipent' s number.
Step 4 :
Send Faxes
- Using the Platen Glass
1) Press the Color or Black button.
If you have two or more pages of the original, load the next page on the Platen Glass and press the Color or Black button
2) After scanning all the pages of the original, press the OK button to send the fax.
- Using ADF
1) Press the Color or Black button.
The fax is sent automatically.

* Before sending Faxes
- Adjusting the Scan Contrast or the Image Quality (Fax Resolution)
** Adjusting the Scan Contrast
Contrast is the degree of difference between light and dark. Increasing the scan contrast setting further blackens dark areas and whitens bright areas, whereas decreasing the contrast setting reduces the difference between bright and dark areas. You can adjust the contrast among the 3 contrast levels.
1) Press the FAX button, then press the FAX Quality button.
2) Press right or left arrow ot select the contrast.
Pressing the left arrow button decreases the contrast, and pressing the right arrow button increases the contrast.
3) Press the OK button.

** Adjusting the Image Quality (Fax Resolution)
You can adjust the image quality (fax resolution) of the document you send. The higher you set the image quality setting, the better the output quality will be at the other end, but the longer it will take for the transmission. Adjust the image quality according to the type of document you are sending.
1) PRess the FAX button, then press the FAX Quality button two times.
2) Press the right and left arrow keys to select the resolution.
FAX RESOLUTION - STANDARD
Standard : Suitable for text-only documents.
FINE : Suitable for fine-print documents.
PHOTO : Suitable for photographs.
3) Press the OK button.

*Sending Faxes - There are 4 methods for sending functions
a) Memory sending
b) Manual sending
c) Dialing the coded speed dial
d) Redial

a) Memory sending
1) Prepare for faxing
a) Turn on the machine,
b) Load the original on the Platen Glass or the ADF.
Note : You cannot scan double-sided documents from the ADF.
c) Press the FAX bitton.
d) Adjust fax settings as necessary.
2) Start faxing.
a) Dial the receipient's number using the Numeric buttons or coded speed dialing.
b) Press the Color button for color sending, or the Black button for black and white sending. I
c) When the following message is displayed, lad the next page on the PLaten Glass.
Scan Next -> Start
Transmit-> OK
If only one document go to step f).
d) Press the same button as you pressed in step b).
e) Repeat step c) and d) to scan in all pages of the document.
f) Press the OK button.

Manual Sending
1) Connect a telephone to the machine.
2) Prepare for faxing.
a) Turn on the machine.
b) Load the original in the ADF,
c) Press the FAX button.
d) Adjust the fax settings as necessary.
3) Lift the handset of the telephone connected to the machine.
4) Dial the receipient's number on the telephone.
5) Talk through the handset to the recipient.
If you hear a high-pitched signal instead of the recipient's voice, go to step g),
6) Ask the recipient to set recipient's fax machine to receive faxes.
7) When you hear a high-pitched signal, press the Color button for sending color sending, or the Black button for black & white sending. Then hang up the handset.

Dialling The Coded Speed Dial
1) Prepare for faxing.
2) Press the Coded Dial button.
3) Press the Numeric buttons to enter the two-digit code (00-19) assigned to the number you want to dial.
4) Press the Color button for color sending, or the Black button for black & white sending.

On the installation cd's of the machine there is a fax driver if you install the fax driver the fax is showing as a fax in the printers and faxes in the controll panel.If you print to the fax a window will open where you tipe the name and number you want to send the fax to.There is also a option if you want to add it to the addresbook.After editing the info add it to the receipient list and send.Your document will faxed from your computer via the IR machine,if your machine is connected to a fax line.
You can edit the address book easy by logging to your machine via your broser tipe the ip address of the machine in your browser and press go.If the machine is connected via local LAN.

I have a Canon ir 3045 copier. I had sucessfully scanned two documents but the third scanned document (107 pages) was not emailed to me. When I click on press details, the job type reads #801. how do i retrieve the document?

No. You need to scan then convert the .tif into a .pdf. There are many good converters around, some of them freeware or costing around $30 or as shareware. You could do worse than starting your search at the url below.

If it's only one page.. just place it on the glass face down.
When faxing muliple pages you must place them in the automatic document feeder located on top of the machine.
Place all originals print side up (up to 35 pages). A message will show up in the display letting you know original were loaded up properly. Let me know it this helps.
